George’s House is positioned next to the main road from Yilaos to Pedi, in the Valley with spectacular views of Pedi bay to the left and the village (Chorio) and mountains to the right. It was originally built in the early 1800’s and is as such, one of the oldest houses on the island. The owner is a local architect who is eager to work with whoever buys the property so that it may keep its original charm. He has left it as a shell so that whoever invests in this piece of history can make their own personal choices as to design. He also intends to add an extra room on the road side of the building with a veranda on top, to increase outdoor sitting space.
